The FRT-15 ALB adjustable locking bar is a self contained, easy to install replacement locking bar that allows you to adjust the trigger release timing.
Adjustable Locking Bar for the FRT-15, WOT, and Tommy Triggers forced reset triggers.
This part fits both the original “Gen 1” and the current “Gen 2” FRT-15 triggers.
The A.L.B. is a replacement locking bar for worn or non-working factory locking bars. It does not change the semi-auto function of the trigger.
The Armament Adjustable Locking Bar for forced reset triggers is a drop-in, adjustable replacement locking bar system. It addresses three common issues with forced reset triggers in a drop-in part*:
- Dead triggers and light primer strikes caused by hammer follow from an early trigger release.
- Replaces the locking bar springs that can kink and cause malfunctions, resulting in a spongy trigger pull and reset issues.
- Increases reset reliability and improves feel by adding downward and rearward spring pressure to the trigger.
The A.L.B. is an easy-to-install replacement locking bar that allows you to adjust the trigger release timing, improving reliability and safety. By adjusting the timing, you can prevent dead triggers and light primer strikes caused by hammer follow. This ensures the trigger functions correctly and reduces the risk of out-of-battery discharges. It also allows the use of various buffer weights and springs and can be used in 9mm, 7.62×39, .22lr, and other platforms that utilize AR pattern triggers but require different timing.
The A.L.B. enhances reset reliability and feel, providing a more positive trigger reset. It completely eliminates issues with locking bar return spring kinking or binding, and installation is straightforward*. The A.L.B. comes with adjustment shims and offers three positions: 2 shims (factory setting), 1 shim, and no shims. Adjusting it is simple, using a low-profile contact bolt, and can be done at the range.
Precision machined from aircraft-grade 17-4 PH stainless steel, heat-treated to H900 specifications, and black-oxide magnetite coated to MIL-DTL-13924D class 4 standards for hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
